Marjorie Caroline (Kentta) Oltman was born May 31, 1927 in Englewood, South Dakota to Nick and Lillian (Alaniva) Kentta and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on February 8, 2007 at the age of 79 years, 8 months, 8 days. Marjorie was a 1945 graduate of Butte, Montana High School. On June 5, 1950, she was united in marriage to Clarence George Oltman at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. Their marriage was blessed with four daughters, Sharon, Marilyn, Vicki, and Lori. The family moved to Seward in August of 1967. Marjorie was a homemaker and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Seward. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Lillian Kentta and two brothers-in-law, Victor Nethig and George Wolfe. Marjorie is survived by her husband, Clarence G. Chuck Oltman of Seward; her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Dave Fitzpatrick of Seward, Marilyn and Jay Oxton of Omaha, Vicki and Brad Kai of North Platte and Lori and Jim Rausch of Lincoln; seven grandchildren, Kerry Peterson, Samantha Fitzpatrick, Geoffrey Oxton, Chelsea Oxton, Kaci Johnson, Andrew Rausch and Katie Rausch; three great-grandchildren, Declan Peterson, Avery Oxton and Claire Johnson; her brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Cordia Kentta of Casper, Wyoming; her sisters, Dorothy Wolfe and Lillian Nethig, both of Lincoln; other relatives and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Marjorie. |
