Marjorie Deane (Dilley) Pliefke was born July 19, 1928 at Ancortes, Washington to Paul B. and Marjorie (Wilson) Dilley and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on September 11, 2007 age the age of 79 years, 1 months, 23 days. Marjorie was a graduate of York High School. On February 13, 1949 Marjorie was united in marriage to Walter William Pliefke at York, Nebraska and their marriage was blessed with two sons, Roger and Richard. The family moved to Seward in 1953. Marjorie was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Seward. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Marjorie Dilley, her husband, Walter Pliefke in 1978; three sisters, Sarah Martin, Mary Boettcher and Virginia Hinkle. Marjorie is survived by her sons, Roger Pliefke and Richard Pliefke, both of Steele City, Nebraska; her grandchildren and their spouses, Shannon and Stacey Owens of Seward, James and Amber Pliefke of Salina, Kansas and Susan and Justin Dominguez of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; her four great-grandchildren, Peyton Owens, Alyssa Owens, Michaela Dominguez and Michael Dominguez; her sister, Viola Stucks of Phoenix, Arizona and her brother and sister-in-law, Paul W. and Tomiko Dilley of Albuquerque, New Mexico and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Marjorie. |
