Max Eugene Fuller was born on July 2, 1928, in Greenwood, Nebraska to Elwood Ashel and Mary (Mathena) Fuller. He passed away on February 18, 2013, in Seward, Nebraska. Max grew up and attended school in Greenwood and Waco, Nebraska. He graduated from Cordova High School. On January 3, 1951, he married Joyce Louise Lottes in York, Nebraska. He enlisted into the United States Army on January 15, 1951, and served in the Korean War. While in Korea he earned the Bronze Star, and was honorably discharged on January 8, 1953, from Camp Carson, Colorado. Upon his discharge Max and Joyce returned to Lincoln where he worked at several auto mechanic shops, later worked at Western Electric and General Tobacco. Max retired in 1989 from Ace Hardware, after 18 years of service. After Max retired he and Joyce moved to Gresham, Nebraska, where they enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening and mowing lawns for his neighbors. Max is survived by his wife, Joyce of Seward, three daughters, Linda Walker and husband Terry of Mesa, AZ; Peggy Ketchmark and husband Frank of Westminster, CO; and Louise Slosson and husband John of Lincoln, NE; seven grandchildren; Jason Slosson, Matt Slosson, Laura Walker-Taylor, Sandra Beecroft, Sarah Pon, Rebecca Ketchmark and Paula Govier, 10 great grandchildren. Max was preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers and four sisters.
