Melvin Dee Alexander was born on January 4, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Marcus James and Mollie Lorene (Howard) Alexander and passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 63 years, 6 months, and 20 days. He attended school and lived in Paramount, California for many years. Upon moving to Nebraska, Melvin was a truck driver for LeGrande Excavating in Lincoln, NE. Since 2003 he has been a resident of Seward. Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus J. And Mollie L. (Howard) Alexander and two brothers. Survivors included his daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Rick Sarvat, Penndel PA, Leona and Gene Selby, Seward, and Teresa Connor, Seward; his son, Mel Alexander, Jr., Lincoln; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; the mother of their children, Patti Alexander, Lincoln; one sister; three brothers, nieces and nephews |
