Michael John Kinnett was born November 22, 1950 in Seward, Nebraska, the son of Clifford Howard and Regene (Vrbka) Kinnett and passed away in Omaha, Nebraska on June 27, 2016 at the age of 65 years, 7 months, 5 days. Mike was a 1969 graduate of Seward High School. On July 20, 1973, Mike was united in marriage to Debra Kay Vachal at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ulysses. Two sons were blessed to join their family, Trevor Michael and Clint Adam. Mike was a long time employee of Frontier Coop, retiring in March of 2015. He was a 3rd Degree Member of Knights of Columbus Council 1717, in David City, the Nebraska Draft Horse Association and served as a youth baseball coach for many years. Mike attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in David City and St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Weston. Mike had lived in Weston over two years.

Preceding Mike in death were his father, Clifford Kinnett; brother, Steve Kinnett and his stepfather, Lyle Beggs.

Survivors cherishing Mike's memory include his two sons and daughters-in-law, Trevor and Kilie Kinnett, Omaha and their son, Maddox Michael Kinnett and Clint and Jessie Kinnett, Columbus and their son, Corbin Francis Kinnett; his mother, Regene Beggs of Dorchester; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Jacque Kinnett, Wayne, Stuart and Cindy Kinnett, Beaver Crossing, Mark and Kathy Kinnett, Ulysses and sister, Pat Ihde of Seward: sister-in-law, Joan Kinnett, Lincoln; six nephews, five nieces; other relatives and countless friends.
