Mitchell Ryan Wambold was born December 30, 1981 in Seward, Nebraska to Trent Vaughn and Marsha Beth (Heiden) Wambold and passed away on August 8, 2009 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 27 years, 7 months, 9 days. Mitchell was a 2000 graduate of Centennial High School in Utica, Nebraska, where he was active in school activities. On May 29, 2004, Mitchell was united in marriage to Lori Anne Hyde at the United Methodist Church in Seward, Nebraska. Their marriage was blessed with one daughter, Ella. Mitchell was a professional painter. He had a love of softball, Husker volleyball, fantasy football, Star Wars and was a talented woodworking craftsman. Mitchell was preceded in death by his father, Trent Wambold, in 1996. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Lori Wambold and their daughter, Ella Wambold, both of Lincoln; his mother and step-father, Marsha and Terry Barth of Beaver Crossing; sisters and brother-in-law, Shana and Randy Schultz of Hastings and Chelsea Wambold and fianc, Brad Luce of Kearney; step-sisters and spouses, Michelle and Matt Bennett of Lincoln, Dawn and Kevin Standage of Ravenna; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Marilyn Hyde of Utica; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Jason Hirschfeld of York and Kristen Hyde of Utica; nieces and nephews, Brynn and Reese Hirschfeld, Kaelan and Hallie Schultz, Zach, Dani , Noah and Elli Bennett, Claire, Layton and Owen Standage; grandmothers, Dorothy Heiden of Waco, Marie Barth of Seward and Pearl McClure of Waco and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers, and memories of life shared with Mitchell. |
