Nora Elva Nelson was born March 1, 1913 in the farm home near Utica, Nebraska to Fred A. and Augusta Mary (Zielke) Nelson and passed away on July 31, 2006 in York, Nebraska at the age of 93 years, 4 months, 30 days. Nora attended Fees Country School District No. 54 and was a 1930 graduate of Utica High School. She attended college and taught school in Kansas and did Gospel Work for the Lord in Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Illinois. She worked at the Utica Home as Activity Director. Nora moved to Seward in 1979 and later to Hearthstone in York. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred A. and Augusta Nelson; her brothers, Wilbur Nelson and Ralph Nelson and her sisters, Mabel Nelson, Elsie Harrison and Ada Nordhousen. Nora is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Verona Nelson of New York Mills, Minnesota; sisters, Alma Nelson of York and Florence Hoover of Omaha; her sister-in-law, Millen Nelson of Puerto Rico; nieces and nephews and friends.
