Patricia Rae “Pat” Holle was born on March 17, 1939, in Humphrey, Nebraska to Paul and Edna (Saalfeld) Morlok and went to her heavenly home on June 15, 2026, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 29 days.
Pat was a farm girl and grew up in Humphrey, Nebraska. She attended a one-room schoolhouse in Humphrey and graduated at Concordia High School in Seward. She furthered her education at Concordia Teachers College, earning her Bachelor of Science in Education. Pat lived in various places throughout her life including Humphrey, NE, Baltimore, MD, Royal Oak, MI, Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Martell, NE and Seward, NE.
On July 23, 1960, Pat was united in marriage to Verlin Holle in Libertyville, Illinois. Pat was a dedicated teacher for several Lutheran schools. She was also employed at Citizens Bank of Maryland and SunTrust where she enjoyed working in banking and human resources.
Pat was very active and loved walking, playing cards and sewing. She did extensive traveling later in her life. Some of her greatest memories were spending time with her large, lively family.
She was a member of various Lutheran churches including Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hyattsville, MD, St. John Lutheran Church in Kramer, NE and St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, NE. Pat invested many volunteer hours in Stephen Ministries, the Orphan Grain Train and enjoyed being part of their church choirs as well. She also loved volunteering at Blue Valley Community Action.
Pat was preceded in death by parents; parents-in-law, Richard and Anna Holle; her husband, Verlin Holle; son, Curt Holle; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marjorie (Earl) Young, Mildred (Norbert) Loeffler, Shirley (Carl) Eschenbacker.
Survivors cherishing her memory include her son, Wayne (Mary) Holle, Stewartstown, PA; daughters, Lisa (Don) Bosak, Seward, Lynnette Holle, Lincoln; daughter-in-law, Jenny Holle, Seward; Doris Vaughn; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, Orphan Grain Train or Blue Valley Community Action.
