Pauline Ann (Cermak) Tesina was born October 19, 1940 in David City, Nebraska, the daughter of Theodore Carl and Marie Catherine (Peters) Cermak and passed away at her home in Bee, Nebraska on October 5, 2014, at the age of 73 years, 11 months, 16 days. Polly attended St. Mary's Grade School and was a 1959 graduate of St. Mary's High School. She attended Southeast Community College in Lincoln and graduated as an LPN. On February 6, 1960, Polly was united in marriage to Emil Alois Tesina in David City. Their marriage was blessed with five childrenKaren, Michael, Suzanne, Kathleen and Patrick. The family resided in Dwight until 1976 when they moved to Bee. Polly was employed with Sundermann Home and Tabitha Home Health as an LPN. She was an active member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Bee where she helped with the organization and preparation of the funeral meals. Polly is preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Marie Cermak; her husband, Emil Tesina in 2003; brother, Duane Cermak; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Emil and Rose Tesina; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and JoAnn Tesina and sister-in-law, Jan Semin. Polly is survived by her loving family, children and spouses, Karen Tesina and special friend Tim Tielke, Omaha, Michael and Stevie Tesina, Dwight, Suzanne Tesina and Randy McGinnis, Lincoln, Kathleen and Doug Nelson, Bennet, Patrick Tesina, Bee; grandchildren, Joshua Tesina, Josh Lambert, Amy Lambert, Tyler Nelson, Jared Tesina, Emily Taylor, Joshia Taylor, Noah Tesina, Joey Cannia and Justin Cannia; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Milo Vanis, Garrison; sister-in-law, Donna Cermak, Platte Center; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rosmarie Tesina and Dennis Mehrhoff, Lincoln, and Al Semin, Ulysses; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
