Peggy Louise Tomlin was born on January 8, 1934, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Elmer Lee and Marguerite L. (Flowers) Sedam, and passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at her home in Papillion, Nebraska at the age of 91 years, 1 month and 8 days.
Peggy grew up in Lincoln where she attended school. On May 23, 1953, she was united in marriage to Kenneth E. Tomlin at Faith United Methodist Church in Lincoln and to this union seven children were born. Peggy worked at several factories around the state as Kenneth worked in construction. She especially loved the outdoors, going fishing and camping. Peggy was an animal lover, she enjoyed cleaning the house, dancing and raising her children. She loved to have fun and get crazy.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; three daughters, Theresa, Tina and Tonya; two sons, Terry and Tim; two brothers, Elmer Jr. (Sonny) and Marvin; two sisters, Lydia (Sis) and Polly, Babe Knutz and Maxine House; son-in-law, Les Sides and one grandson, Christopher; and one great granddaughter Kennedi.
Survivors cherishing her memory include her two daughters, Tammy Sides, Bartley, NE, Tricia Bishop and husband, Bryant, Papillion, NE; daughter-in-law, Becky Tomlin, Denver, CO; son-in-law, Brian Bartels, Bennett, NE; sister, Millie Meyers and fiancé, Rich Long; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of a life shared with Peggy.
