Richard Joseph Janousek was born March 16, 1943 in Brainard, Nebraska to Emil and Mary Rose (Nevole) Janousek and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on March 7, 2007 at the age of 63 years, 11 months, 22 days. On May 1, 1965, Richard was united in marriage to Roberta Joyce Morrow at the Methodist Church in Ashland, Nebraska. They lived all of their married life in Seward and were the parents of three children, Linda, Barb and Ricky. Richard was employed for 43 years at Hughes Brothers in Seward, working in light assembly. He was a member of Hughes Brothers Credit Union and attended the United Methodist Church in Seward. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Mary Rose Janousek and his brother, Alfred Janousek. He is survived by his wife, Roberta Janousek of Seward; his daughters and son-in-law, Linda Janousek of Seward and Barb and Noah Mastel of Lincoln; his son, Ricky Janousek of Seward; four grandchildren, Alexander, Graham, Hanna and Isaac Mastel; his siblings and spouses, Emil and Mary Janousek of Bee, Lucille and Frank Tichy of Bee, Delores and Ronnie Nimps of Omaha, Darlene Zikmund of Omaha, Leonard and Nancy Janousek of Weston, Dennis Janousek of Bee; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
