Myrita Ilene "Rita" (Kulhanek) Wullbrandt was born March 27, 1933 in Helvey, Nebraska, the daughter of Harold Beil and Virneeda Orpha (Ogle) Kulhanek and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on June 6, 2016 at the age of 83 years, 2 months, 10 days. Rita was baptized in Steele City, Nebraska; she was a 1950 graduate of Steele City High School and then attended Concordia College in Seward and Fairbury Junior College. She was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lincoln in 1957 and on March 23, 1958 Rita was united in marriage to Royce Neil Wullbrandt also at Trinity Lutheran Church. They lived most of their married life around Goehner, moving to Seward in 2000. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Goehner. Rita was employed for 30 years at Hinky Dinky in Seward and later worked at Coast to Coast in Seward for five years. Rita enjoyed cooking and baking in her spare time.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Royce in 2012; brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Evelyn Kulhanek; sister, Marilyn Vigen; brothers, Earl Kulhanek and Louis Kulhanek; sister-in-law, Esther Kulhanek; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joye and Bob Gillan; brother-in-law, Keith Richardson.

Survivors include Rita's brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Mary Kulhanek, Lincoln; brother, Harold Kulhanek, Jr., Fairbury; sisters, V. Ethel Beetley, Lincoln and Lorraine Richardson, Omaha; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Leah and Ron Oswald, Milford; nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews and a host of friends.
