Robert Paul Borgmann was born October 12, 1956 in Seward, Nebraska the son of Paul Holm Borgmann and Loraine Darlene (Klepper) Borgmann and passed away on October 5, 2017 at his home near Ulysses, Nebraska at the age of 60 years, 11 months, 23 days. Bob attended Our Redeemer Lutheran School and was a 1975 graduate of Seward High School. On November 12, 1977, Bob was united in marriage to Theresa Ann Urbanovsky at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ulysses, Nebraska. Their marriage was blessed with three children: Kacy, Katie and Chris.
Bob was passionate about operating the family farm and Borgmann Trucking. He was a dedicated member of the farming community. Bob loved spending time with his family and especially his granddaughter, Kayla who called her grandpa "Ponca".
Bob was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Staplehurst Volunteer Fire Department.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Loraine Borgmann and his father-in-law Richard Urbanovsky, Sr.
Survivors cherishing Bob's memory are his wife, Theresa; children: Kacy and George Niemann, Dwight, Katie and Brandon Kresha, David City, Chris Borgmann, Ulysses; granddaughter, Kayla and another grandchild to arrive the latter part of October; siblings and spouses: Kathy and Duane Anderson, Staplehurst, Pam Borgmann, Lincoln, Judy Torske, Gypsum, Kansas, Kenneth and Mary Ann Borgmann, Staplehurst; nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Lillian Urbanovsky, Ulysses; brother-in-law, Richard Urbanovsky, Jr. and Gerri, Florida and a host of friends.
To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Bob.
