Robert Wayne "Bubba" Norman was born on May 13, 1967, in Hastings, Nebraska to Donnie and Carol (Bottlefson) Norman and passed away on July 15, 2025, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 58 years, 2 months and 2 days.

Robert grew up in Kenesaw, NE and attended school in Hastings, NE. During school he worked for his mother's café in Hastings. After school he started working for Werner Construction in Hastings for several years. He began dating Cami Detty in 2000 and the couple moved to Council Bluffs, IA in 2001 where he worked as a truck driver and did construction work. He was united in marriage to Cami Detty on January 26, 2001, and to this union three children were brought into their lives, Tarah, Jeremiah and Erik.  The couple moved to Seward in 2007 when his mother's health was declining, then moved to Staplehurst, NE after her passing. Robert drove a truck for Ed Schulz Trucking for 13 years and Gana Trucking for the next 5 years of his life. Robert had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed going on camping trips and fishing with his family. He loved tinkering with and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. Robert also enjoyed a wide range of music. He recently started gardening and was very proud of his work.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; 3 cousins; aunt, Margaret Harpham.

Survivors cherishing his memory include his wife, Cami Norman of Staplehurst, NE; children and spouses, Tarah (Antonio) Hemsath of Seward, NE, Jeremiah Polage of Geneva, NE and Erik Brant of York, NE; grandchildren, Andre Hemsath; brother, Brian Norman; sister-in-law, Debbie Hodgin; aunt, Joann Stromer; cousins, Teresa Uden and family, Randy Clevland and family; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
