Roberta Diana Huisman was born on October 21, 1946, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Robert and Ruby (Knowlton) Sharp and passed away on September 18, 2023, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 28 days.

Roberta grew up in Tamora and attended school in Seward. Over the years, Roberta worked as a Nursing Assistant in several facilities around the Seward area. On March 29, 1991, she was united in marriage to Clair Jay "C.J." Huisman in York, Nebraska. She was a member of the Tamora Volunteer Fire Department and First Responder Medical Services, where she held an EMT certificate and was a CPR instructor for many years. Roberta was employed with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Emergency Communications Center. After her mother's death in 1999, she moved to David City. She then began working at Region V as a caretaker from 2000 until her retirement in 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, C.J. Huisman on January 18, 2003, and infant brother.

Roberta is survived by two stepsons, Brian Huisman, Fremont, NE and Todd Huisman, Seward, NE; special friend, Landon Daniel and a host of friends.
