Roberta Joyce Janousek was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 2, 1945, to Robert and Lillian (German) Morrow and passed away peacefully on April 1, 2022, in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 76 years, 10 months, and 30 days.

Roberta grew up in Ashland, Nebraska and graduated from Ashland High School with the Class of 1963. On May 1, 1965, she was united in marriage to Richard Janousek and to this union three children were born. Roberta worked various jobs throughout the years until her retirement in 2008. In her free time, Roberta enjoyed reading books, spending time with her grandchildren, and watching Animal Planet and HGTV. She also loved her dogs and cats. Roberta was a member of the Seward United Methodist Church since 1977.

Roberta is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Janousek; infant sister; and brother-in-law, Leonard Janousek.

Survivors cherishing her memory include her children, Linda Janousek, Seward, Barbara and husband, Noah Mastel, Lincoln, Ricky Janousek and fiancé, Amber Jindra; grandchildren, Alexander, Graham, Hanna, and Isaac Mastel, Dillan, Kyle, Casey, and Gabe Jindra; great-grandchild, Meredith; sisters and brother-in-law, Nancy Janousek, Janice and husband, Bill Schliefert.
