Ronald Chris Sinn, Jr. was born on October 8, 1961, to Ronald Chris and Sandra Joan (Ahrends) Sinn Sr. in Lincoln and passed away on August 1, 2016, in Lincoln. Ron grew up in the Seward area where he attended Seward schools and graduated with the class of 1981.
He then began working for the City of Seward and attending SCC in Lincoln, where he received his A.S. degree in water treatment. Ron continued to work for Seward until 2005. He later began working for the City of Lincoln in their waste water department until his passing.
Ron was an avid sport enthusiast. He loved playing golf, the Husker's, Dallas Cowboys, Duke Blue Devils and the Philadelphia 76er's. He loved being with his family and especially his nieces and nephews. He was a man of his word, loyal to family and friends. Ron's biggest strength was his hard working ethics, integrity, and his reliability to help anyone in need.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Policky in 2012, and his grandparents.
He is survived by his father, Joseph J. Policky of Milford, siblings, Vickie Pfeifer and husband Matt of Lincoln, Debra Bruha of Seward, Michael Sinn of Lincoln, Joseph F. Policky of Milford, and Julie Waegli of Seward. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and two dogs. Memorial Gathering / Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Zabka Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to LLS Light the Night in Ron's memory.
