Rosemarie Ann Hill was born May 11, 1956 near Garland, Nebraska to Roy Detlaf and Nadine Opal (Bock) Schmersal and passed away at her home near Milford, Nebraska on February 1, 2011 at the age of 54 years, 8 months, 21 days. Rosemarie was a 1974 graduate of Malcolm High School. She worked for 31 years for LT & T, Aliant, Alltel and Windstream. On October 11, 1986, Rosemarie was united in marriage to Marvin Herbert Hill at the Pleasant Dale United Methodist Church. Rosemarie is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Nadine Schmersal. Rosemarie's survivors include her husband, Marvin of Milford; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Derek Mattison and their son, Ethan Alexander Mattison of Yokosuka, Japan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Russell and Jean Schmersal of Garland, Roger and Sharon Schmersal of Garland, Robert Schmersal of Lincoln, Joe and Katherine Schmersal of Waverly; sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and George Ketterer of Milford; stepsons and spouses, Stoney Hill of Milford, William and Kassandra Hill of Bennet, Scott and Dana Hill of Lincoln, Patrick Hill of Lincoln; step grandchildren, Shelbey Hill, Andrew Hill, Brandi Hill, Christopher Hill, Sydney Hill, Sadye Hill, Samantha Hill, Jaime Hill, Jennifer Ankor; mother-in-law, Marjorie Hill of Pleasant Dale; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dennis "Jake" and Patii Hill, Steve and Vicki Hill, all of Pleasant Dale, Herbert Jr. and Becky Hill of Lincoln, Mary Gillinger of Pleasant Dale, Sandra and Dwayne Reed of Malcolm, Pamela Kraus of Lincoln and a host of friends.
