In Loving Memory of Russell Herrold Russell Lawrence Herrold was born August 8, 1952 in Seward, Nebraska the son of Alvin Herrold, Jr. and Shirley Maxine (Swanson) Herrold. Russell passed away in Seward, Nebraska on July 28, 2013 at the age of 60 years, 11 months, 20 days. Russell was baptized and confirmed at the Methodist Church in Seward and was a member of the Seward United Methodist Church. He attended Leahey School District 46 and was a 1971 graduate of Seward High School. Russell farmed with his father, Alvin and his brother A.J. . Russell was a cattle feeder; he also raised and back rounded cattle. He enjoyed working with cattle, his cattle dogs and helping other people with their cattle. He was proud of his cattle brand and loved attending cattle sales, rodeos and liked country western music and dancing. Russell had been employed in security work and was a driver for Railcrew Express for Burlington Northern Railroad. Russell is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin, Jr. and Shirley Herrold. Russell is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, A.J. Herrold, III and Pat Herrold, Seward; his sister and brother-in-law, Lori Kreimer and Kent Imig, Lincoln; nieces and nephews, Jesse and wife, Karen Herrold, Rachelle and husband Scott Calahan, D.R. and wife Stacy Herrold, Lauren Kreimer, Riley Kreimer; seven great nieces and nephews; uncle and wife, Dale and Carol Herrold, aunt, Romelle Johnson and his dog, Sparky and a host of friends.
