Ruth Marie Cooper was born September 1, 1917 in Seward, Nebraska, the daughter of Cloyd and Marie (Jenkins) Cooper and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on November 21, 2009 at the age of 92 years, 2 months, 20 days. Ruth Marie grew up in Maryland where she attended school and was a graduate of Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland. She was employed at the U.S. Pentagon in Washington D.C. during World War II. After the death of her Mother in 1945, Ruth Marie moved back to Nebraska to care for her Father. Ruth Marie and her Father moved to Seward in 1979. Mr. Cooper passed away in 1998 and Ruth Marie continued to make her home in Seward, moving to the Extended Care Unit at Seward Memorial Hospital in November of 2005. Ruth Marie is survived by cousins and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Ruth Marie. |
