Ruth Oneta Lloyd Age - 92 8/1/1915 - 2/12/2008 Hannibal, MO - Lincoln, NE Funeral Service 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 15, 2008 at Wood-Zabka Funeral Home, in Seward, NE Officiant: Rev. Dr. Don Helmuth VISITATION 2:00 until 8:30 P.M. with family greeting friends 6:30-8:00 P.M. Thursday, February 14, 2008 and one hour prior to the service on Friday all at Wood-Zabka Funeral Home INTERMENT Mound Prairie Cemetery Goehner, Nebraska MEMORIALS Donor's Choice in care of the family. |

1934 graduate of Goehner High School. Married Norman B. Olston June 15, 1934 Ruth spent the early years of her life as a Homemaker, farm wife and mother of 4 children near Goehner, NE before moving to St. Louis, MO to be near her parents. She spent the remainder of her years working at various jobs and retiring from factory work. She loved gardening and playing BINGO with her many friends. She returned to Lincoln in 1999 to be near her family. Preceded by: husband, Norman B. Olston; daughter, Lola Lauree Welch; 2 sisters, Wilma Hewitt & Dorothy Moredock; 2 brothers, David & Kenneth Lloyd all of St. Louis, MO. Survived by: sons & daughters-in-law, Melvin E. & Dorothy Olston of Chapman, NE, James E. & Norma Olston of Lincoln; daughter & son-in-law, Rosana M. & Jerry Garrett of Naylor, MO; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren. |
