Sharilyn Kay (Brase) Lange was born April 2, 1941 in Riverton, Wyoming to Fred F. and Elvira (Schaefer) Brase and passed away on November 15, 2005, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 64 years, 7 months, 13 days. Sharilyn was baptized on April 20, 2941 at Mt. Hope Lutheran Church in Kinnear, Wyoming and was confirmed on April 3, 1955 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Staplehurst. She attended Christian Day School at Our Redeemer, was a 1959 graduate of Seward High School and attended beauty school. On October 8, 1960, Sharilyn was united in marriage to Eugene Earl Lange, also at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Rodney, Kent and Steven. The couple farmed in the Malcolm area and Sharilyn operated her own beauty shop in her home from 1966 through 1998. Eugene passed away on September 26, 1998. Sharilyn began employment with Sundermann Home in Seward in 1999 through the present. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church and LWML in Malcolm and the HEO Extension Club. Preceding Sharilyn in death were her husband, Eugene Lange; her parents, Fred and Elvira Brase and her brother, Gerald Brase. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Sharon Lange, Lincoln, Kent and Lynne Lange, Dillon, CO, and Steven Lange, Lincoln and special friend, Kim Cepurnieks, Lincoln; grandchildren, Mitchell Lange, Cierra Lange, Makenna Lange and Makaylee Lange; her brother, Kenneth Brase, Staplehurst; sisters-in-law and spouses, Damaris and Jack Clagg, Seward, Karen and Glen Schmieding, Beatrice, Janice and Frank Densberger, Mountain Home, AR; nieces and nephews and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers, and memories of life shared with Sharilyn. |
