Sherleen Eunice Hill Koczko was born in Auburn, Nebraska on June 25, 1950 to Nelson C. and Eunice M. (Allen) Hill and passed away on July 8, 2010 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 60 years and 13 days. Sher was confirmed in the Auburn United Methodist Church and was a 1968 graduate of Auburn High School. She attended Peru State College where she studied journalism and advertising and received her Bachelor Degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. In 1970, she married Kevin Clark, and to this union was born a son, Trevor Nelson Clark. In 1988, Sher was united in marriage to Gary L. Koczko, and they built their life together in California and Nebraska. Her greatest loves were cooking and sewing. She made Halloween costumes for her son and niece and also made her niece's baptismal dress from her wedding dress. Sher loved flowers and gardening, and she loved to sing and play the guitar and lute. She was involved in theater productions in high school and college. Sher is preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Eunice Hill; her brother, Charles Wayne Hill and her niece, Amy Hill Luethke. Sher is survived by her husband, Gary Koczko of Auburn; her son, Trevor Clark of Oakhurt, CA; stepsons, Sonny Tierney of Irvine, CA and Philip Grout of Iowa; and her sister, Juanita Hill of Seward, NE.
