Sherrill Lyn Whittemore was born on August 6, 1942 in Rexburg, Idaho, to Don E. Whittemore Sr. and Ruth Ragan Whittemoreand passed away on May 1, 2009. Sherrill is survived by her husband, Darrell Clukey; son, Daniel Clukey (Wyemy Tolosa); brother, Don Whittemore Jr. (Connie)of Seward, NE; sister, Jean Marshall (William); stepson, Robert Clukey (wife, Diane and daughter, Makenna); and nieces and nephews and their children. Sherrill earned her master's degree at the University of Nebraska then moved to Monmouth, where she worked for the teaching research division of the Oregon University System. Sherrill worked as a program evaluator and systems analyst for the city of Portland and the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office. She retired in 2001 after directing Portland's Bureau of Emergency Communications for six years. |
