Steve Radke was born October 9, 1950 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Ferdinand "Joe" Monroe and Betty Lee (Anderson) Radke and passed away at his home in Bee, Nebraska on July 15, 2011 at the age of 60 years, 9 months, 6 days. Steve was a 1968 graduate of Lincoln High School. Steve was united in marriage to Sharon Kay Fish on March 27, 1976 in Lincoln and they blended their two families. He was employed as a diesel mechanic for 40 years and most recently was employed with Concordia University in Seward in the building and grounds department. Steve was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Sesostris Shrine, all in Lincoln. Steve enjoyed bowling and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Steve is preceded in death by his father, Ferdinand "Joe" Radke and his brother, Charles "Chuck" Edward Radke. Steve is survived by his wife, Sharon Fish-Radke of Bee; his mother Betty Radke of Lincoln; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Cathy Radke of Seward; daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Jerry Marshall of Des Moines, IA; granddaughters, Micaella, Stephanie and Vicki Radke and Kayla, Michelle, Emily and Vanessa Allen; grandson, Brendon Allen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alan and Deanne Radke of Lincoln, Kent and Julie Radke of Omaha; sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Dan Hansen of Wichita, KS; nieces, nephews; cousins and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers, and memories of life shared with Steve. |
