Obituary
Terrance "Terry" J. Jordan was born on May 30, 1947, in Omaha, Nebraska to Eugene Vincent and George Ann (Vohs) Jordan and passed away on November 18, 2016, at his home in Brainard, Nebraska at the age of 69 years, 5 months and 19 days.
Terry grew up in Omaha where he attended school and graduated in 1966. He enlisted into the United States Navy on February 20, 1967, where he served in the Navy Seabees during the Vietnam War. Terry was honorably discharged on January 22, 1970. Upon his return to Nebraska he began his career as a truck driver. He drove for several different companies before going to work for Ace Hardware. Terry drove for Ace for 20 years. Terry's true passion in life was riding his motorcycles. He and Roma would love riding every weekend around Nebraska. Any day on the bike was a great day. Terry also enjoyed working on cars, he was a true gear head. He loved working in the garden and lawn, he was a perfectionist and everything had to be just so. Terry was a kind hearted man who would do anything for anyone in need. He was a avid collector of many items. Terry was a member of the Benson V.F.W. Post #2503 and the Columbus HOG motorcycle club.
He was preceded in death by a brother Tony Jordan and sister Jon Ann Crawford.
Terry is survived by his wife Roma Jordan of Brainard, NE; daughter Wendy Bolivar and husband Dan of Omaha, stepchildren, Sabrina Nielsen and husband Nate of Lincoln, and Cody Kapner and wife Brandi of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren Cody and Katie Bolivar and Beckham Nielsen, Emily and Isabella Kapner, Isabella Jordan; sister Jackie Olsen and husband John of Olathe, KS; and his beloved nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at the American Legion Rejda Post #273 in Brainard, NE. Military honors will be by the American Legion Rejda Post #273 and the U.S. Navy. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital c/o Zabka Funeral Home 410 Jackson Ave. Seward, NE 68434.
