Services for Tri? T. Da?ng, 63, of Norfolk will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2016 at Zabka Funeral Home in Seward, NE. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Zabka Funeral Home in Seward. He died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.
Tri? T. Da?ng, son of Nghê? Da?ng and Nha~n Lê, was born on December 18, 1952 in Cân` Tho, Vietnam. Tri? served in the South Vietnamese army as a helicopter mechanic during the Vietnam War. He immigrated to the United States in 1975, initially residing in Wisconsin before eventually making his way to Seward, NE, where he met his wife, Christy Mauser. Tri? and Chris made their life in Seward, having 3 children and moving to North Carolina to start a Chinese restaurant. After 3 years in North Carolina, Tri? and Chris moved their family back home to Nebraska, opening New China Restaurant in Norfolk. Tri? enjoyed spending time with his family and working in his garden and outside. He also enjoyed traveling home to Vietnam to see his extended family.
Tri? is survived by his wife, Christy; his children, Toa`n Da?ng, TC Da?ng, Xuân (Zach) Zoubek, and Vân (Stephanie) Da?ng; 3 brothers; 1 sister; 2 grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
