Obituary
Troy Lane Hall was born on August 7, 1960 in Seattle, WA; to Nancy Luther Hall and passed away on February 17, 2016 in Lincoln, NE; at the age of 55 years, 6 months and 10 days. In his early years he attended school in Maui and finished his education in Lakewood, WA.
He worked at various jobs in the Lumber and Construction fields. He later moved back to Maui where he lived with his mother and worked at Mauna Kai Resort in Kihei. Troy came to Nebraska in 2012 and later moved to California. He came back to Nebraska in 2014 to be closer to his sister. Troy loved to fish, being outdoors and animals. He would tinker with things that were broken and usually would end up fixing them. He was a kind and generous man almost to a fault. Troy was very much loved by his family and friends.
Troy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Grace Hughes.
Troy is survived by his mother, Nancy Porteus of Maui, HI; three children, Heidi Pearson of Stanwood, WA; Chelsi Nicholas of Oak Harbor, WA; and Roger Spencer - Kirk, three grandchildren, two sisters, Kathy Hall Varney of Everett, WA; and Laura and husband Jerry Schultz of Seward, NE; half brother, Joe Jasper of Kingston, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Troy's life will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Hughes Cabin west of Seward on Bluff Road.
