Vern E. Redmond was born February 24, 1920 in Greeley, Colorado to George and Grace (Cordingly) Redmond and passed away on May 19, 2006 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 86 years, 2 months and 24 days. He married Treva Jane Maples. He was a Radio Officer in the Merchant Marines and Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Galloway Full Gospel Church in Springfield, Missouri. Vern was preceded by his parents, George and Grace (Cordingly) Redmond, his wife, Treva Jane (Maples) Redmond, brothers, Robert, Roy, Al and Charlie Redmond. Vern is survived by his, sons and daughter-in-law, Donald and Merna Redmond, Arvada, CO, Daniel Redmond, Seward, Douglas Redmond, Seward, Freddie Joe Redmond, Seward, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, Brothers and sisters-in-law, Kozy and Carol Maples, Springfield, MO, Geneva and Henry Blair, Eucha, OK, Iris Redmond, Greeley, Colorado.
