Viola Ella Wilhelmena Mueller was born August 21, 1912 at the family home near Malcolm, Nebraska to William L. and Lena Henrietta (Beckmann) Mueller and passed away on November 20, 2006 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 94 years, 3 months, 8 days. Viola was the fifth of eight children in her family. After Viola completed her education, she was a personal secretary in Omaha. After her retirement, she moved to California where she helped care for a relative. Viola had been a resident of Anna Sundermann Home East in Seward since March of 2000. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and her ability to make others laugh. Viola was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Seward and was involved in other groups at church. She enjoyed doing needlepoint, sewing and reading. Preceding Viola in death were her parents, William and Lena Mueller; her brothers, Hugo, Edwin, Ewald and Victor Muller and her sisters, Hilda Mueller and Vera Mueller. Viola is survived by her sister, Ruth Schroeder, Pasadena, CA; nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
