Werner John Eric Stillahn was born February 19, 1924 in Seward County, Nebraska to Edward Abraham and Anna Kathrine (Klintworth) Stillahn and passed away on September 13, 2009 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 85 years, 6 months, 13 days. Werner attended Middle Creek Christian Day School. He farmed with his brother, Lester for many years. Werner was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church (Middle Creek). Werner is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Anna Stillahn; his brother, Lester Stillahn; and his brother-in-law, Hershel Baack. Survivors include his sister, Ruth Baack of Seward; niece and spouse, Eydis and Steve Erks of Lincoln; nephews and spouses, Arend and Gail Baack of Grand Island, Harley and Marla Baack of Holdrege and K.C. and Connie Baack of Marietta, Georgia; many great nieces and great nephews; and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers, and memories of life shared with Werner. |
