In Memory of William J. Bill Rempel William John Rempel was born May 22, 1932 in Denver, Colorado to Peter Henry and Mildred (Beger) Rempel and passed away in Tilden, Nebraska on December 25, 2007 at the age of 75 years, 7 months, 3 days. Bill attended school in York, Nebraska. On July 19, 1953, he was united in marriage to Patsy Ruth Pinneo in York. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Douglas, Jeffrey and Denise. Beginning at a young age, Bill was employed with Consumer Public Power and lived in York, Geneva and David City. Beginning in 1974, the family moved to Seward and he was employed with Nebraska Public Power District as a lineman. He attended the United Methodist Church. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mildred Rempel; his brother, Robert Rempel, sister, Joanne Jandrew; sister-in-law, Betty Wren , brother-in-law, Arlin Pinneo; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Edna Pinneo. Bill is survived by his wife, Patsy Rempel of Seward; his sons and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Teresa Rempel of Greeley, Colorado and Jeffrey Rempel of Lincoln; his daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Daniel Block of Greeley, Colorado; his grandchildren and spouses, Amy and Travis Pollak, Casey and Jenna Rempel, Shaun and Cori Rempel; nine great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ann Rempel, Mae and Max Gray, Linda Duell, Barbara and Francis Matlock, all of York, Donald and Nona Pinneo of Lake Forrest, California, Pete Wren of Utica; special aunt and uncle, Willie and Herbert Rempel; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Bill. |
