Wilma E. John, 84, Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010. She was born in Seward County Nebraska on February 9, 1926 to Peter and Lena (Schneebeck) Ringler. Resident of Lincoln since 1943. Graduate of Lincoln Northeast High school and Bryan School of Nursing. Womens Army Corp. Cadet Nurse, WWII. She helped others her entire life as a career nurse in several fields of medicine. Retired from Lincoln Regional Center, 1988, after 20+ years of service. Wilma was deeply devoted to her grateful family. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, animals, and cooking. Survived by: daughter, Barbara and husband, Joe Koch, Mesa, Ariz.; son, David John, Lincoln; grandchildren, Matthew and wife, Anne John, Mark John, Angie and husband, Joe Tidball, Daniel and wife, Sherril Sigerson; sister, Janet and husband, Edwin Archer; great-grandchildren; Kylie, Emma and Allie John, Tyler John, Stella and Sam Tidball, and Kurtis and McKensie Sigerson. Preceeded in death by parents, sisters Erna, Vera, Ruth and husband Ray Peterson. |
