Yvonne Marie Patchin was born on September 6, 1953, in Seward, Nebraska to Edwin August and Irene Marie (Schulte) Schultz, Sr. and passed away on January 24, 2021, in York, Nebraska at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 18 days.

Yvonne grew up in Seward where she attended and graduated from Seward High School with the Class of 1972. She then began working at AmeriCare Nursing Home as the laundry supervisor until 1981. She was united in marriage to Randy Patchin in 1983 and to this union three sons were born, Travis, Trent and Cody. The family lived in several places around Nebraska until they settled in Gresham in 2002. Yvonne worked for several years at Square D in Lincoln. She later worked at Sunrise Country Manor in Milford until her retirement in 2015. Yvonne enjoyed painting and spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite hobby was babysitting her grandchildren and doing whatever they wanted to do. Yvonne's family was everything to her, she loved hosting for holidays, birthdays and everyday events. You could always stop by her house and be assured that the coffee was ready and she would always fix something to eat as well.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Sr. and Irene Schultz; husband, Randy Patchin; brother, Edwin A. Schultz, Jr.; father and mother-in-law, Elvin and Betty Patchin; former sister-in-law, Susan Schultz.

Yvonne is survived by her three sons, Travis (Tosha) Patchin and their children, Austin and Vada, Gresham, Trent Patchin, Gresham, Cody Patchin and significant other, Brittany Nuss and their children, Kaden and Gracelynn Nuss, Sutton; three siblings, Tyrone Schultz, Utica, Richard and wife, Sherry Schultz, Seward, Dean Schultz, Seward; sister-in-law, Jennifer Schultz, Buffalo, New York; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Yvonne.
