Bonnie K. McCall was born on December 8, 1934, in Seward, Nebraska, the daughter of Lawrence Weldon and Katherine (Gladfelter) Alley, and passed away on January 31, 2026, in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 91 years, 1 month and 23 days.
Bonnie grew up in Lincoln where she graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1952. On January 9, 1954, Bonnie was united in marriage to Donald Alan McCall in Lincoln and to this union five children were born, Don, Mike, Doug, Kathy and Debra. Bonnie worked at Western Electric as an inspector for 35+ years and retired from AT&T. Don and Bonnie loved taking the kids camping and fishing; they also loved to go dancing in their younger years. Bonnie enjoyed playing Dominoes and Pitch and had a love for crocheting. She cherished going to thrift stores and garage sales. Bonnie loved shopping and whoever took her to Walmart would often get their items paid for as her way of showing appreciation. Bonnie had a big heart and was always helping anyone in need. She loved to dress up and always had the perfect pair of shoes and earrings to accompany her outfit.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; two sons, Mike and Doug.
Those left cherishing Bonnie's memory include her children, Don McCall, Seward, Debra McCall and Scott Miller, Seward, Kathy McCall, Antigua; nine grandchildren, Erin, Doug, Dan, Lee, Christine, Dustin, Shannon, Mindy and Michael; 18 great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren, numerous cousins and many friends.
